Therapists for Armenia Membership Form

Welcome to Therapists for Armenia (TFA)! We are a group of multidisciplinary volunteers across North and South America who partner with rehabilitation and disability service providers in Armenia to improve quality and access to care. If you are a student, educator, or clinician interested in joining our team, complete the volunteer registration form below.

All volunteers must be a dues-paying members of our nonprofit organization. Your membership form and annual membership dues ($25/year) will grant you the opportunity to collaborate with our multidisciplinary network and engage in our international initiatives aimed at strengthening rehabilitation and disability services in Armenia. Membership terms are from September to June, regardless of when you join.

What are the benefits of membership?

• Connect with a diverse group of 20+ multidisciplinary volunteers across USA, Canada, and Uruguay.

• Contribute to capacity-strengthening programs such as virtual case discussions with providers in Armenia and development of clinical & patient resources.

• Strengthen skills in interdisciplinary care, communication, cultural humility, accessibility, and inclusion.

• Learn about rehabilitation and disability in an international, post-conflict, and developing context. Armenian ethnicity or language fluency NOT required! We provide a cultural orientation manual and bilingual programming (English/Armenian).

• Engage in international partnerships and knowledge exchange remotely or in-person. Most programs are virtual.

• Be a part of the Armenian rehabilitation revolution!

What does being a TFA member entail?

• Attend 2 virtual meetings per month (general volunteer meeting & committee meeting). All meetings are 1 hour long, in the evenings (North American time zones), and in English.

• Participate in quarterly virtual events with Armenian community partners with English and Armenian interpretation.

• A time commitment of 3-5 hours/month from September - June.

• Members are encouraged to attend 75% of events, but we know life happens!

• Certificate of membership provided at the end of each year.

• References or letters of recommendation available upon request.
