At our May member meeting, we had the honor of welcoming Cody McDonald, PhD, MPH, CPO, Assistant Professor at University of Washington’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, who delivered an insightful talk on Sustainable Capacity Building in Global Health. Her expertise was especially relevant to our mission at TFA, as we continue working to connect and support Armenian communities worldwide.
McDonald emphasized the critical role of relationship-building, particularly in the context of remote collaboration, with both individuals and organizations. Her message resonated deeply with us, especially in light of last year’s trip to Armenia, where we were able to forge new connections and strengthen long-standing partnerships.
As we look ahead to future opportunities to return to Armenia, McDonald’s insights will help guide our efforts to ensure that our work remains impactful and sustainable. We’re grateful for the valuable perspective she shared and the inspiration it brought to our community.
