TFA member Tamara Zakarian has been working closely with our new partner, the Meghri Rehabilitation Center, to help expand and strengthen rehabilitation services in southern Armenia.
Through this collaboration, the Meghri team is building a more structured approach to occupational therapy—developing improved systems for conducting evaluations and creating effective treatment plans for patients.
The center is already making a meaningful impact, offering vital care to residents of the region who would otherwise need to travel 375 km (233 miles) to Yerevan for similar services. We’re proud to support this important step toward greater healthcare access in Meghri and beyond.
