We are excited to share that our capstone student, Sherry Kung, has developed a Cultural Orientation Manual in partnership with Therapists for Armenia. This resource was created to support both new and current members by fostering a deeper understanding of cultural humility within our work. For new members, the manual serves as a welcoming onboarding tool designed to help individuals feel included, prepared, and connected as they begin their journey with TFA. For all members, it provides practical guidance to strengthen culturally responsive practices and promote meaningful, respectful engagement with partners in Armenia. By emphasizing cultural humility, this manual plays an important role in supporting the long-term sustainability of TFA’s initiatives. Developing awareness, openness, and adaptability in cross-cultural collaboration helps ensure that programs remain relevant, respectful, and effective within the communities we serve.
