New TFA Resources Created in Partnership with Texas Woman’s University OT Students

Our newest additions to the TFA Resource Library include Independence in Dressing: Adaptive Equipment Guide and Independence in Eating: Adaptive Equipment Guide. These were created in collaboration with students from the School of Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University, and translated by Disability Rights Agenda NGO in Armenia.

These guides detail how to use adaptive equipment for dressing and eating in order to maintain independence with these activities of daily living. These daily tasks are things we often take for granted until we are unable to complete them independently, which is why these resources are so valuable for patients and practitioners alike. In addition to receiving education on these tools in therapy, it is helpful to have a visual aid for reference with clear and detailed explanations.

You can access any of the resources in our e-library under Assistive Technology.
